Dr. Warren I. Brandwine

Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Dr. Warren I. Brandwine, of W. Berlin, NJ passed away on October 30, 2026. He was 80 years old.

Warren was born in Detroit, MI where he discovered an early passion for flying. At medical school at the Chicago of Osteopathic Medicine, he met his future wife, Beverly, a nurse, marrying in 1971. They settled in Cherry Hill, NJ where they raised their four sons. He rekindled his passion for flying and fulfilled his life-long dream of owning an airplane. The plane, N8797C or “Charlie” as it was called, was often used to visit friends and family across the country.

Warren was a life-long teacher, sharing his knowledge and experience. Whether it was medical residents at the hospital or students in his ethics classes, he was always investing in others. He and Beverly became deeply involved with Children Of The Americas, hosting children from Guatemala that needed long term treatment and travelling regularly to Guatemala to provide medical care. In 2016 he retired after forty years in private practice as an obstetrician.

Warren is survived by his wife, Beverly Brandwine, his children, Eric (Clarissa) Brandwine, Joel (Marti) Brandwine, Cory (Marie) Brandwine, Alex (Colin) Brandwine, and Anna (Shane) Kostroun, grandchildren Leora, Nathan, Simon, Ryan, Jordyn, Gloria, Lily, and Ava, and his sister, Lois Granader.
