Timothy Miloshevsky
Timothy John Miloshevsky — whose name means “to honor God” — passed away peacefully at home in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, on February 25, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 79 years old.
Born in Mount Holly, New Jersey, in 1946 and raised as one of fourteen children, Tim rose from humble beginnings to build a life marked by faith, perseverance, and enduring strength.
Tim proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Hamner doing two tours in Vietnam. Those years forged in him a resilience that would carry him through every season that followed. After his military service, he studied drafting and went on to work as an inspector with Stone & Webster, contributing to nuclear and energy infrastructure projects that helped power communities across the country. In later years, he became a skilled drywall craftsman, lending his talents to many homes throughout South Jersey and generously teaching others the trade.
Yet the most meaningful work of his life was done beside his high school sweetheart and wife of 59 years, Theresa. Together they remodeled homes and rebuilt opportunity, creating stability and a better life for their three daughters. What they built together was more than shelter — it was faith, security, and a foundation that endures.
Tim believed deeply that God has a plan. He cherished Psalm 107:13–15, the verses that speak of crying out in trouble and being brought out of darkness. Those words were not merely Scripture to him — they were testimony. For more than fifty years, he remained faithful to Bethel Baptist Church, finding joy in the men’s prayer breakfast, in singing, and in the quiet strength of fellowship.
He was always helping someone. When others were burdened, he made room for them. He listened without judgment, encouraged without pride, and carried himself with a humility that never sought attention. He rarely complained and asked for little for himself, yet gave freely of his time, his labor, and his heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael J. Miloshevsky; his mother, Nellie Weir (née McCluskey); his brothers Michael Jr., James, and Charles; and his sisters Irene, Carol, and Susan. He is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa Miloshevsky (née Brennan); his daughters Tammy Miloshevsky, Tiffeny Facchinei (Miloshevsky), and Tarrah Wilson (Chancee); his cherished grandchildren Theresa Miloshevsky-Facchinei, Clemente Facchinei, Timothy J. O’Donnell, Tyler O’Donnell, Tek Wilson, Thaxton Wilson, and Teigan Wilson; and his siblings Robert, Joseph, Kenneth, Nancy, Kathy, Joy, and June, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tim began life with very little, but he leaves behind something far greater — a legacy of faith, family, and quiet goodness that will continue to shape the lives of those who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited Friday, March 6, 2026 beginning 10:00AM to Bethel Baptist Church, 1704 Springdale Road, Cherry Hill Township, NJ 08003 where funeral services will begin promptly at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Baptist Church in support of programs serving those in need.
