He was the husband of Barbara Varbalow, father of Jennifer Varbalow and Julia (Eric Christy) Varbalow, grandfather of Hana Varbalow-Komatsubara, brother of Sivia Elgart and brother in law of Judy Safir. Funeral services are private.
