Joel Staiman

Joel Bennett Staiman, beloved son, husband, father, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, at the age of 59. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Joel was a devoted husband and father who cherished his family above all else. He was a dedicated engineer for more than 30 years, taking great pride in his professional accomplishments and work ethic.

Known for his quick wit, humor, perseverance, and kindness, Joel touched the lives of many and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nina; his children, Ethan and Kyle; his parents, Marilyn and David Staiman; and his sister, Andrea (Dan) Drechsler. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Noah and Benjamin Leibowitz; Eitan (Rebecca), Rachael, and Maya Jaffe; and Naftali and Shuey (Carol) Mirkin.

Relatives and friends are invited Wednesday, January 28, 2026 beginning 10:15AM to Platt Memorial Chapels, Inc. 2001 Berlin Rd. Cherry Hill, NJ where funeral services will begin promptly at 11:00AM. The funeral services will also be live streamed by clicking on Joel’s Memorial Page at www.plattmemorial.com Burial will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Shiva will be observed at the home of Marilyn and David Staiman, 43 Mitchell Court, Marlton, NJ 08053 as follows:

Wednesday January, 28th: 6:00 pm visitation, 7:00 Minyan; Thursday January 29th: 6:00 pm visitation, 7:00 Minyan; Friday January 30th 12 – 3 pm visitation
