Jacob Manders

Jacob Aaron Manders passed away while hiking on Sunday, November 17, 2024. He was a 2019 graduate of Cherry Hill High School East and 2023 graduate of Duke University. He was a mechanical and aerospace engineer at Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA.

He lived life to its fullest, and enjoyed hiking, camping, yoga, learning and sports. Above all, he loved spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by his siblings Hannah and Joshua, who were his best friends, as well as his beloved dog Colonel. Although he wasn’t with us long enough, the world is a better place for having him in it.

He is survived by his parents, Ronda and Steve, and siblings, Hannah, Joshua and Colonel, Mommom, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited Thursday, November 21st, beginning 9:00 AM to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Inc. 2001 Berlin Rd. Cherry Hill, NJ where funeral services will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Services will also be live streamed at www.plattmemorial.com Int. Locustwood Mem. Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.

Shiva will be observed at the home of Ronda & Steve Manders immediately after the burial with a shiva minyan at 7:00 pm. Shiva will also be held on Friday, November 22nd from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
