Harold Einhorn, formerly of Marlton and Loveladies, NJ, died July 1, 2025. He was the husband of the late Judith Einhorn; father of Alan (late Nina) Einhorn and Bruce (Jorge Castillejo) Einhorn; grandfather of Emily (Jeff Wong) Einhorn, Ariel (Amishai Gottlieb) Einhorn and Leila (Josh Shirt) Einhorn; great-grandfather of Justin and Penelope Einhorn-Wong; brother of late Marvin (late Annie) Einhorn, late Stanton Einhorn, late Edith Einhorn, and Edgar (Bobbi) Einhorn.
Born on April 16, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Harold was the fourth of five children of Benjamin and Minnie Einhorn. He graduated from Central High School and earned a degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Harold began his career as an accountant before becoming co-owner of Evenspun Yarn Mills in Philadelphia with his father-in-law. At the age of 44, he embarked on a second career and decided to attend law school. He graduated from Villanova Law School in 1976 and thereafter practiced law in Philadelphia.
Harold was married to the love of his life, the late Judith Einhorn, for 73 years. They were inseparable. Judy was not only Harold’s wife, but his constant companion, and source of joy and strength. Together, they raised two sons, Alan and Bruce, and traveled the world. He adored his family and doted on his three granddaughters and two great-grandchildren, who will always remember him as their “Goppy.”
In 1966 Harold and Judy built their beloved home in Loveladies on Long Beach Island, where he spent many happy summers sailing his Flying Scot on Barnegat Bay, fishing, and hosting family and friends. He was a passionate sports fan and especially loved following the Phillies and Eagles.
Harold’s faith was also central to his life. He was a devoted Jew and proud member of Temple Beth Sholom. He will be remembered for his laughter, warmth and kindness. May his memory be a blessing.
