Gloria Renee Sager Feltoon passed away on August 6, 2024 after a long, graceful journey with Alzheimer’s. She was predeceased by Lester, her husband of 38 years. She is survived by her 4 children, Arnold (Carol), Robin (Bill), Richard (Merri) and Leonard (Susan). She was a wonderful grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Gloria was a native of Brooklyn, NY, a city of which she was so proud - a true New Yorker. She graduated from Hunter College with a degree in early childhood education.
Besides her family, young children were Gloria’s passion. After being a stay at home mom to her own 4 children for many years, she started teaching at Beth Judah nursery school and then became the kindergarten teacher at a daycare center in Lawnside, NJ. Gloria was an active member of Hadassah and Beth Judah congregation.
She and Lester had many friends and enjoyed an active social life. Gloria was surrounded by love as she and her family endured this difficult journey. There are not enough words to thank the team at Angelic Hopsice Care and the private caretakers that helped keep Gloria in her own home. They were all true angels. In our mother’s beloved memory, we ask that any donations be made to Angelic Health Palliative and Hospice Care 8025 Black Horse Pike, Ste #501, McKee City, NJ 08232 — donations.angelic.health
