Gladys Schultz

Gladys Schultz, of Collingswood, NJ died on May 12, 2026, at her residence surrounded by family. She was 87 years old.

Known as Goldie to her friends and family, she was married to her doting husband, the late Ronald Schultz, and is survived by her children: Michael Schultz, Elaine Schultz, and Michele Schultz; her grandchildren: Quinlan Schultz and Garrick Schultz; and her brother, David Samost. She started her career as a med tech and gave up her work for her family. Her most recent position was as a microcircuit specialist.

Goldie was a gentle soul with a kind heart, a light smile, and a subtle sense of humor. Her joys were many: she loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family; singing and harmonizing with the temple choir or just with friends; the study of Judaica, her Jewish faith, and community; organic gardening, cooking, baking, and the vegan lifestyle. She loved keeping busy and could be found baking dozens of cakes for friends to celebrate her birthday, organizing delicious Thanksgiving dinners for 30 or more, actively working into her 70s, and building a food forest in her backyard.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services are Friday, May 15, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Montefiore Cemetery, (Sec. 17) Jenkintown, PA.

Shiva will be observed at the late residence on Friday following the burial until 8:00 pm; Saturday from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm with Minyan at 8:00 pm and again on Sunday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm with Minyan at 3:00 pm.
