Gary P. Romisher, Md Obituary (2001 - 2023)

Gary P. Romisher, age 88 of Cherry Hill died May 10, 2023. He is survived by his adoring wife, Sivya (Spiegel), who shared 66 wonderful years of marriage with him. Gary had 3 devoted children, Michael (Laura,) the late Sharon (John,) and David, DMD (Janet,DMD.) He took special pride in his grandson, Shaun and his 7 granddaughters, Alison Romisher, MD, Lauren and Sophie Romisher, Rachel Hoy, DMD, Elyssa Hoy, Abigail and Riley Romisher and great granddaughters, Savannah and Molly. He is also survived by his loving sister, Deenie (Alan) Ettenson. He was predeceased by his parents, Rose Greenberg and Charles Solomon Romisher and his brother, Leo Romisher, DO. Gary was a graduate of Central HS, Class of 197, Temple Univ, and Jefferson Medical College. He completed his Radiology training at Phila General Hospital and was Chief Radiologist at Zurbrugg Memorial Hosp in Riverside, NJ for over 35 years. He then worked for Larchmont Imaging until retirement. Gary's passion was taking care of his family, friends and employees and will be deeply missed by all. He was also an avid tennis player. Relatives and friends are invited Friday, May 12th beginning 12:30 pm to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Inc. 2001 Berlin Road, Cherry Hill, NJ where funeral services will begin promptly at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Crescent Memorial Park, Pennsauken, NJ.
