Dr. Bernard Deitch

DR. BERNARD DEITCH
of Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed away on March 25, 2026 at the age of 96. Husband of Phyllis Deitch. Step-Father of Roger (Michele) Cohn, Debra (Allen) Kelmer and Daniel (Stephanie) Cohn. Brother of the late Jack (Toby) Deitch. Grandfather of Chris (Johanna) Penney, Kevin (Amanda) Penney, Caitlin Cohn, Alexis Cohn, Lilly Cohn and Emma Cohn. Great Grandfather of Eleanora Penney. Uncle of David (Suzanne) Deitch, Mark (Lee) Deitch and Philip (Deborah) Deitch and their families.

Known to most as “Bernie”, his lifelong dedication of practicing hematology, oncology and later internal medicine for over 60 years in the Philadelphia area was only triumphed by his love and commitment to his family. He will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends are invited Monday, March 30, 2026, beginning 9:30 AM to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Inc. 2001 Berlin Rd. Cherry Hill, NJ where funeral services will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Funeral Services will also be live streamed on Bernie’s Memorial Page at www.plattmemorial.com Burial will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ.
