Dennis G. Kille, Esq.

Cherry Hill, New Jersey

DENNIS G. Kille, ESQ. - June 14,2026
VOORHEES - Born in Philadelphia on July 25, 1942, to George S. and Marie A. Kille, Dennis is predeceased by his younger brother, (Barry W. t2019), and survived by his wife, Anne T. Picker,
Esq. and their son, David L. Picker-Kille.

In 1947, the Kille Family relocated to Delaware Township (Cherry Hill) where Dennis spent his childhood and young adult years. He attended grammar school at Christ the King School in Haddonfield, high school at Bishop Eustace in Pennsauken, and attended Rutgers University,
achieving a B.A. in History, before enrolling in the Law School of Rutgers University Camden.

After graduating from Rutgers in 1969, Dennis clerked for the Honorable Edward V. Martino, J.S.C., Assignment Judge for the Burlington-Ocean Counties Vicinage, before joining the Cahill and Wilinski law firm, headed by the former Governor of New Jersey, William T. Cahill. After five years, he opened his own office in Berlin, New Jersey, before joining the Office of the Camden County Prosecutor. After briefly returning to Cahill's firm, he eventually joined the City of Camden Law Department in 1980, where he spent nearly thirty years.

Among the positions Dennis held while serving the City of Camden were City Attorney, numerous stints as Acting City Attorney, First Assistant City Attorney, Counsel to the Mayor, Counsel to the City Council, Counsel to the Affirmative Review Council, and Director of the
City's Department of Code Enforcement. He also served as a member of the Camden City Library Board, the Municipal Board of Alcoholic Beverage Control, and the Camden Municipal Port Authority. After retiring from the City in 2010, Dennis worked through the Office of the
New Jersey Public Defender, representing clients who had filed applications for post-conviction relief.

Despite a busy schedule, Dennis found time for several memberships and activities. In college, he served as president of the debate team, and participated in several inter-scholastic tournaments. His association with Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity fostered friendships that have lasted over 50 years. He was a member of the Camden County Bar association and the New Jersey State Bar Association, the South Jersey Athletic Club, and the Haddonfield 65 Club, where he had also served as president.

Dennis was seen by many jogging along the streets, sidewalks, and parks of Camden County. He participated in several races, completing at least 13 marathons and one 50-mile ultra-marathon. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family at the golf course, and participating in poker tournaments in Vegas and A.C.
