After graduation they lived briefly in Washington, DC, then moved to South Jersey where they spent the rest of their lives. Their boys were born when they lived in Haddon Heights. They then built a house in Haddonfield where Beverly lived until she moved to Lions Gate Retirement Community.

After Karl's death Beverly continued her volunteer work, notably with Interfaith Caregivers in Haddonfield.
