Ann Kantor

Cherry Hill, New Jersey

ANN KANTOR
A longtime resident of Cherry Hill, NJ passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026 at 91 years old. Ann was born and raised in West Philadelphia and was a fierce and proud Philadelphia sports fan, especially of her Phillies and Eagles. She was always an athlete growing up and kept herself physically active as a tennis player for most of her adult life.

Ann was predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Edwin, her mother Edith, father Max, sister Dorothy Kuhnel and her husband George as well as Ann’s beloved dogs Tiki, Shana and Maxie. She was very proud of her 38 years as a kindergarten teaching assistant at the Jewish Community Center.

But Ann’s biggest passion was her beloved family. She raised her two sons (Mark and Steven) and was always very involved in their lives and those of her grandchildren (Jason and Sammi). She was active in the PTA and volunteered at the Cherry Hill Library. You could be sure to see and hear Ann passionately rooting for all of them and their teams while they were growing up. Even in her later years Ann loved watching and cheering for them as adults; Steven in the Broad Street Run, Sammi in her bands and Mark and Jason on their bowling teams.

Ann is survived by her sons Mark (Holly) and Steven (Robyn) and grandchildren (Jason and Sammi), her brother Glenn Kramer (Debbie) and her beloved dog Arielle who especially misses her Mommy. Ann is also survived by many nieces and nephews including Dorothy’s son Scott, who was always there for Ann like a third son, and many grandnieces and nephews.
