Alfred "At" Fingerman Obituary (2023) - Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Our dear father, Alfred (At) Fingerman, passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 96. He was a devoted father and had a great sense of humor. He was predeceased by one brother and one sister, and his beloved parents, Tillie and Jacob Fingerman. He is survived by his loving wife, Gilda, of 72 years, his daughter, Shirley (Michael), his two sons, Michael and David, his three grandsons, Maximilian (Jordyn), Austin, and Dylan, his bonus great-grandson, Jason, as well as many nieces and nephews. At had many friends and was a well-loved member of the Pennsauken and Cherry Hill communities, and Beth Jacob Synagogue. He attended some college, joined the armed forces prior to the end of WWII, and chose advertising as his career, ultimately having his own business focusing on TV and radio spots. He was a sports enthusiast, and he and Gilda enjoyed years of hobbies together, including travel, bowling, tennis, golf and finally Bridge, of which both were life masters. He and Gilda spent many wonderful years as snowbirds in Lakeworth, Florida. A funeral service will be held at Platt Memorial Chapels, 2001 Haddonfield-Berlin Road, Cherry Hill, NJ on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
